  • JMG will host a Blood Drive on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. in the Carrabec High School Gym.

  • I have met with teachers of Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.  At the meetings we discuss students, curriculum and set up meetings with parents when necessary.

  • Our annual Fall College Trip is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1, 2017, and Thursday, November 2, 2017, pending School Board approval.  Our tentative colleges are SMCC, Brandeis, Stonehill College and Salem State University, with an overnight stay at a motel in the Boston Area.

  • Currently there are twenty-seven students taking college duel enrollment classes. Classes are being taken from KVCC, UMPI and the University of Maine at Fort Kent.

  • We have the pleasure of having a National Merit Scholarship Semifinalist amongst our senior class, Katrina Mason.  If you get the chance, offer her your congratulations!

  • Madison has offered a chance for our students to travel to Madison High school to participate with their band.  The students will travel to Madison via the Voc bus and Chris Roy has arranged a van ride back for our students.  Currently only one student is involved.

  • Our math team has invited Madison students to become part of our math team.  At this time there are five students interested.  Mr. Twitchell has visited with the students in Madison to orientate them.

  • The Senior class spent time at the New Portland Fair parking cars and returned on Monday to clean-up the fair grounds.
