MILITARY LEAVE

Staff Members of the RSU #74 District entering the armed forces after January 1, 1970, shall receive experience credit on the salary scale for up to two (2) years of the military service, and be reinstated after military duty, provided that the staff member resumes working in this District upon his/her return from the service.

RSU #74 will:

· Reinstate the employee in total after Military absence, up to thirty-one (31) days reporting directly after service.

· Reinstate the employee in total after Military absence after two (2) weeks from the Military absence after thirty-two (32) – one hundred and eighty (180) days of service. Unless it is impossible or otherwise unreasonable, the employee will be reinstated.

· After one hundred and eighty-one (181) days the employee may submit an application for employment.
