STUDENT ADMISSIONS TO/WITHDRAWAL FROM SCHOOL

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

ADMISSION OF RESIDENT STUDENTS

To establish the custodial rights of a parent/guardian for a child to attend school in RSU #74, the parent/guardian must provide the school with a copy of a court order awarding custody to that person. If the parent/guardian does not show a court order when registering a child, the school will give the parent thirty (30) days to produce said document. After fifteen (15) days have passed and the court order has not been provided, the school will notify the parent/guardian that at the end of the thirty (30) days, it will recommend to the Superintendent that the student not be allowed to attend the school until the parent/guardian produces the court order.
