Carrabec’s basketball teams performed well in the post-season. Varsity girls entered the tournament in third place, but fell to Madison in the quarterfinals. Varsity boys were ranked fourth and advanced to the second round, but fell to top-ranked Mt. Abram in the semifinals. CCS boys finished 2nd in the Pine Cone League. Math team school records were broken by Owen McDonald and David Dixon for the most points scored by a freshman and junior, respectively.

Spring sports signups are open at both CCS and CHS. There will be a coaches meeting for high school spring coaches on March 18 followed by our “Meet the Coaches” night for all parents and players interested in participating. Preseason begins for pitchers and catchers on Monday, March 23. All other high school spring sports begin on Monday, March 30. CCS practices will begin on Monday, April 6. Schedules will be posted as soon as details are finalized.
