TITLE I PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT

Recognizing that parent involvement is critical to the success of a child's educational program, RSU #74 sets the following guidelines for the Title I ISEA program.

1). An annual meeting will be held to explain the goals of the Title I program and to solicit suggestions from parents.

2.) Parents of Title I students will be informed of their child's referral for services and will be made aware of the objectives for their child.

3.) Parent/Teacher/Title I staff consultations will be held to discuss student progress and placement.

4.) Parents will be kept informed of student progress through quarterly reporting.

5.) Parents are invited to observe Title I program activities.

6.) Appropriate instructional materials will be made available to parents who wish to do additional work with their child at home.
