Director of Transportation Report

The state mandated that crossing arms be installed on all buses, and I am happy to report that we have installed five out of six kits on our older buses.  We will be ordering one additional kit to install on one of our spare buses.  The work was accomplished in house and went very well.

The three 15 passenger vans have been taken off the road and will be diligently working towards the purchase of a new Pacifica mini van.  Currently we have a need for four mini vans, but with only three, we are using the Activity Bus to transport students to Hinkley and Benton.

The first week of September, the radios and camera systems will be installed in our new bus and Activity Bus, also the Activity bus will be undercoated that same week.  Once the new bus has these items installed it will be assigned to a route.
